Patterson Racing/Omaha Track Press Release

Patterson Racing is pleased to announce the partnership of Omaha Track as a major sponsor for the remainder of 2014 and the 2015 drag racing season. The 3 car team consists of Todd Patterson and Ryan Montford, driving the COPO Camaro’s in NHRA’s Stock Eliminator category. Todd will also drive the Chevy Cobalt in Competition Eliminator. “We’re excited to have Omaha Track on board for next season.” “We plan to run 12 to 14 Events, split between the NHRA Nationals and the LDRS events,” says Todd Patterson.

Patterson Racing has been building high performance drag race engines starting in 1979 and has been involved with the COPO Camaro engine program since it’s returning to drag racing in 2012 and going forward looks to further develop our engine program with the COPO (Stock) and the and the Competition Eliminator engines.

“I am proud to affiliate Omaha Track with Patterson Racing. My purchase of a new COPO Camaro in 2013 started me back down a path that began with the first Z-28 Camaro that I raced at the Kearney, Nebraska Dragway in 1969. We are looking forward to having as much fun with the new Camaros as we did with that first race car 45 years ago. We like to win, and Patterson Racing are proven winners,” Terry Peterson, President of Omaha Track.

Omaha Track has been providing quality, reliable service to the railroad industry for 30 years and grown into the leading railroad material supply company and services contractor in North America, providing products and services to Class 1 and Short Line Railroads, Rail Contractors and Industries. Omaha Track headquarters is located in Omaha, Nebraska.

“We look forward to the remaining racing season and 2015 with Terry and Omaha Track. Look for some awesome performances and wins in the coming year.”
