Patterson Racing prepares for the 2013 racing season with backing from Husky Liners®
Husky Liners® has agreed to come on board as the major sponsor in 2013 for the Patterson Racing team backing both the COPO Camaro and the Chevy Cobalt. “We are pleased for Husky Liners® to expand their role as our primary sponsor and look forward to a promising season,” says Patterson Racing President, Todd Patterson.
The team plans to compete in 14 races in the Lucas Oil National and Divisional schedule, attending the first race at the NHRA Jeg’s SPORTSnationals on March 22nd in Belle Rose, Louisiana.
Todd Patterson will drive both of the Husky Liners® sponsored vehicles. Todd is an 11 time NHRA National Event Winner, a 25 time NHRA LODRS Divisional Event Winner and a past JEG’s Allstar Champ. Patterson has twice been honored as Division 5 sportsman driver of the year and is a 5 time Competition Eliminator Division 5 Champion. He finished second in the Competition Eliminator Points standings in both 1994 and 1995. Todd is also the 4th on the all time Competition Eliminator NHRA National Event Winners list.
We are excited to see the COPO Camaro hit the track with a new custom built Patterson Racing EFI 427 cubic inch engine combination as well as the Chevy Cobalt which will compete in the highly competitive Competition Eliminator class with a 400 cubic inch Splayed Valve Patterson Power Plant.
